1990年4月、神戸の須磨浦公園内に植えられている普賢象の枝変わりとして発見され、笠原基知治氏により日本花の会結城農場に導入され栽培されていますた。花の形質のうち、花色が黄緑色に変化したもので開花終期には花弁の基部から赤変し、時に二段咲きの花が混じります。発見された場所と元の品種名に因んで名づけられました。現在、須磨浦公園の原木は枯損してありませんが、里帰りをはたした株が植栽されています。
In April 1990, an original tree of this variety was discovered as a sport of Fugenzo (Cerasus serrulata ‘Albo-rosea’ ) planted in Sumaura Park in Kobe, and was introduced by Mr. Kasahara and cultivated at the Yuki Farm.of Flower Association of Japan. Among the characteristics of flowers, except flower color other ones are same as Fugenzo, and the flower color changes to yellowish green, and at the end of flowering, it turns red from the base of the petals, and sometimes double-flowered flowers are mixed. It was named after the place of discovery and the name of the original variety. Currently, the original tree in Sumaura Park have been died, but the plants propagated in the Yuki-Farm have returned home are being planted.
