松前の桜研究家の浅利政俊氏によって、ココノエとカスミザクラを交配して誕生した品種です。花つきは良く花弁数は12～15枚で、カスミザクラの特徴がよくでています。花の色は淡紅色ですが、散り際、花の中心が赤く染まるそうです。
It is a variety developped by crossing variety ‘Kokonoe’ (Cerasus serrulata ‘Homogena’) and Kasumizakura cherry (C. leveilleana) by Mr. Masatoshi Asari, a cherry researcher in Matsumae. The variety inheritaged good characteristics of Kasumizakura, many midium size flowers. The color of the flower is pink, but it seems that the center of the flower is dyed red when it becomes end period. The number of petals is 12 to 15.
