「伊予菊桜」は、低木で原木は四国の松山にありますが、金沢、能登に多い、菊咲きの桜です。有名な兼六園菊桜とも近縁とも考えられています。花はよく茂った葉間に花をつけ、数は余り多くなく、花弁数は大小合わせて100~130枚程度です。

“Iyo Kikuzakura” is a dwarf and the original tree is located in Matsuyama, Ehime, but this chrysanthemum-blooming type cherry that is often found in Kanazawa and Noto. It is also considered to be closely related to the famous Kenrokuen Kikuzakura. The flowers are blooms in well-grown leaves, and the number is not very large, and the number of petals is about 100 to 130 in total.
