「今日、葉を摘んでも明日には芽が出る」と言われるほど生命力が旺盛であることから明日葉の名前があります。多年草ですが、2-3年で薄黄色の傘形花序をつけ、その後に扁平な楕円形の果実をつけますが、開花結実すると枯れてしまいます。
It produces large umbels of white flowers and has dissected leaves, like other carrot family.
