5-6月に黄白色の星のような5弁花を円錐状または散房状の花序をつくり咲かせます、コゴメは砕けた米の意味です。
Tiny, star-shaped, yellowish-white flowers appear in clusters loosely formed in late spring. “Kogome” in Japanese is broken small rice.
