初夏にオレンジ色の花を咲かせます。水辺に咲いていることが多く、強い植物で一部野生化しています。
At the end of the flower stalk they have colourful branched inflorescences of bright orange to red flowers, reaching on average 40 millimetres in diameter. The flowering period extends from June through August.
