赤、赤紫の小さな果実をならせます。甘酸っぱく、生食やジャムなどに使われます。
The flowers are produced in late spring, each flower about 1 cm diameter with five white petals. The fruit is red, sweet but tart-flavoured, produced in summer or early autumn.
