タイで最もよく見かけ、いつでも咲いている花の一つです。つる性で他の木の枝に巻きついたりして形も様々な表情を見せます。色も紫、赤、橙、白と様々。日本では温室や室内での鑑賞が主ですが、野外の鉢植え等でも見ることができます。非常に強い植物。

One of the most flower in tropical or semi-tropical area. Flower-look parts are called bracts which surrounding actual flower which is small and generally white. Each cluster of three flowers is surrounded by three or six bracts with the bright colours associated with the plant, including pink, magenta, purple, red, orange, white, or yellow.
